This incredibly unique pair of antique rose cut diamonds is, eye catching, strikingly large, and beautifully white. The diamonds are completely natural and extremely rare to find in a matching pair. These would make extraordinary earrings as we already have many ideas for the design. Meaningfully historied, cut by hand more than a century in the past. The oval rose cuts give these diamonds exceptional spreads and strikingly large looks with each one measuring approximately 9.9 x 6.9mm. They look much larger than their carat weight! True antiques, these rare diamonds are absolutely one of a kind, guaranteed to be 100% conflict free, and full of old world charm. They have a beautiful dome of faceting; light bounces from them in all directions. Already imbued with more than a century of life, they will bring depth and longevity as well as dazzling beauty to any design. They would make a beautiful and unique twist on a classic pair of studs or dangle earrings. The diamonds are graded I for color, and they appear beautifully white. They truly do not show any warmth. The diamonds are graded SI2-SI3 for clarity. Excellent SI2-SI3 stones, the inclusions are small and well dispersed, so they do not jump to the eye. These diamonds are perfect for earrings because the inclusions will not be visible whatsoever when these are worn. The girdles are unpolished, a trait typical of diamonds from the Victorian era. The diamonds can be polished to smooth the edges. We opted to preserve the original condition of the diamonds as the unpolished edges are part of their antique cuts; however, if you prefer to have them polished, we can offer that service. The diamonds’ rose cuts and antique origins make them exceptionally rare and absolutely unique. There are other rose cuts on the market though few are truly old like these. This diamond pair is being sold loose, but it can be mounted upon request. Hand cut more than a century ago, these stunning diamonds are an enduring and meaningful connection to the past. Once they have sold, we will not be able to replace them.
